Your Baby and the Future

Many parents welcome their baby with a Baby Naming Ceremony which often ends with the handing out of Certificates to commemorate the event. 

The Certificates can include: 

·        Certificates for the baby

·        Horoscope Certificates outlining the Baby’s characteristics

·        Certificates for close relatives of the baby such as Grandparents, Aunts, Brother and Sisters

·        Certificates for the special people that are part of the Baby Naming Ceremony such as Godparents, Mentors, Sponsors, Guardians, Life Guardians

·        Certificates for each of the Guests 

Making a feature out of the presentation of the Certificates, at the end of the Baby Naming Ceremony the recipient can be asked to come out to receive the Certificate standing with the parents holding the Baby while guests are given the opportunity to take photographs.

Baby Naming Horoscope Certificate

Federer has done it again. He is now the proud father of four - twin daughters, and the newly arrived twin sons.

I looked at the Horoscope Certificates which I recently added to my repertoir of Naming Certificates, and the signs predict two nice-natured sons. They couldn't be anything else, could they?

Time will tell. But here's the Certificate which I've designed for the Taurus baby.

Baby Certificates with a Theme

When I conduct baby naming ceremonies I make a feature of handing out the certificates to people directory involved in the ceremony.

I call each one in turn to come out to receive the certificate while encouraging all the guests to take photographs of the recipient with the baby.

I usually begin with the person furtherest from the baby in terms of relationship and end with the closest.

This could be the the Great, Great Aunts, followed by Grand Parents, the Godparents, baby's brothers and sisters, and lastly the baby.

I have made one of my most popular certificate into a theme package, appropriately based on baby angels.

Baby Naming Certificates

One of the things I enjoy about Baby Naming ceremonies is the opportunity it gives me to draft special certificates for all the people involved in the ceremony - from the baby to aunts and uncles, grandpas and grandmas.

What I usually do is have different designs for the different people. The certificates for grandparents would be one design, while certificates for Godparents, for example, would be a different design, and certificates for the baby's elder siblings would be different again.

Recently, I was asked by a celebrant if I had certificates that were the same design for all the people involved in the ceremony. I hadn't thought of theme certificates as I felt what was appropriate for a child, would hardly be appropriate for an adult. However, I thought I'd give it a try, and here are my efforts. Two themes, for those people likely to be involved in a Baby Naming Ceremony.

Theme Baby Naming Certificates for 17 different people involved in the Naming ceremony such as baby's siblings, grandparents, mentors etc.
